Nottingham Forest fans have been reflecting on their side’s 1-0 defeat away to Watford.
Just as on Tuesday night against Luton Town, the Reds were beaten by a single goal as they fell to a second successive loss.
Adam Masina’s first half strike proved to be the difference between the two teams, with the promotion-chasing Hornets taking all three points.
Forest improved after the break but still struggled to create many clearcut chances against the hosts, although Lyle Taylor had a late effort ruled out for offside.

Masina struck from just inside the area after 17 minutes when Ismail Sarr had beaten a weak attempt at a challenge from Gaetan Bong, with the winger’s cross being parried out by Brice Samba.
But as the ball arrived with Masina, the defender steadied himself to send a shot through a crowd of bodies to give the Hornets the lead.
Forest enjoyed plenty of possession but struggled to break down Watford’s defence in the first half as they failed to register a shot on target.
Watford continued to look dangerous through Sarr, whose pace and creativity posed a real problem for Bong, but the winger found Joe Worrall a different proposition.
Hughton would have wanted more urgency in the Reds’ attack after the break as they attempted to find an equaliser.
And after Joao Pedro fired straight at Samba, the visitors began to ask questions of Watford’s defence as Anthony Knockaert drilled wide from 25 yards.
Cafu, on as a substitute for Ryan Yates, then saw an effort deflected just over the bar as Forest forced a succession of corners.
But Philip Zinckernagel gave the Reds a reminder of Watford’s threat when he curled just over the bar.
Hughton threw on striker Taylor with 10 minutes to go and the forward thought he had secured a point when he lashed in a terrific finish but he was ruled offside.
