Just Eat bikes torched and fireworks dumped throughout Edinburgh in aftermath of Bonfire Night

The aftermath of Bonfire Night could be seen around Edinburgh this morning, with locals spotting a host of irresponsible and 'reckless' behaviour.

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service have confirmed they received 1100 calls last night, while 12 crews were attacked as the attending to call outs.

In the capital, remnants of last night's behaviour were slammed by local residents after the public had been discouraged from any antisocial behaviour.

In Inverleith park, one dog walker was disgusted by the amount of litter and firework packaging left dumped on the grass, and sated that his puppy "had already picked up 12 fireworks".

Images taken of the park have shown shocking amounts of cardboard and plastic that has been dumped, with bottles and alcohol also left amongst the debris.

In Musselburgh, one local also found a series of Just Eat bikes that had been taken and set alight on the promenade.

One bike can be seen to be completely torched, with its frame almost completely charred into dust.

The other bikes have undergone serious damage, with some parts melted off as well as smashed wheels and handlebars.

Edinburgh was also subject to a huge blaze last night, after flames erupted on Arthur's Seat in the early hours of this morning (Friday).

Crews were left to battle the fire as it climbed up the side of the iconic hill, with the scene visible from miles away.
