A bunch of bananas to former Guardian staffer and Evening Standard chief arts correspondent Louise Jury who has left the London paper after eight years. The prolific Jury practically wrote the paper some days and also covered some BBC stories – her numerous scoops included interviews with BBC director general Tony Hall. She was also one of Monkey’s rivals in her previous job covering media at the Independent. Jury is off to become director of communications and strategy at the heavy-hitting Creative Industries Federation. Who will Monkey have a banana daiquiri now with at BBC events?
