Wolves have joined the race to sign Liverpool's Georginio Wijnaldum according to reports in Italy.
The Dutchman's contract at Anfield is winding down and he will soon be free to negotiate with other clubs.
Liverpool are keen to keep hold of the midfielder who is into his fifth season at Anfield.
But he has recently asked for more time before making a decision on his future.
Wijnaldum has been heavily linked with Barcelona where former Netherlands boss Ronald Koeman is now in charge.
Inter Milan are also keen on the 30-year-old with Wolves now considering a move, reports Gazzetta dello Sport.
Wijnaldum could be a replacement in the middle of the pitch for Joao Moutinho with the Portuguese star now 34.
The Premier League outfit have built steadily in recent years and their ambition may prove attractive.
Liverpool and the Midlands outfit have done business recently with Diogo Jota swapping Molineux for Anfield while Ki-Jana Hoever went the other way.
Klopp would like to retain Wijnaldum, who cost the Reds £23m back in 2016.
Despite the uncertainty surrounding his future the midfielder has continued to be a regular for the Premier League champions.
He has played 22 times this term, although Liverpool have been hampered by injures.
They have a host of midfield options but the likes of Thiago and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain have faced time out.
Klopp though has continued to praise Wijnaldum despite the ongoing questions having highlighted the consistency in his performances.
"I cannot really say a lot about that. I would be happy if he would stay here. I am pretty happy with Gini as you can see when you look at most of the line-ups," he said last month.
"He played always good, that's why he's played the amount of games he has. I cannot remember a lot of bad games to be honest."
