Jurgen Klopp talks up dangerous Tottenham ahead of crunch Liverpool meeting

Jurgen Klopp insists Liverpool are well aware of the dangers Tottenham posses ahead of Sunday’s crunch Premier League meeting.

While Antonio Conte’s side are ten points clear of last season’s runners up, Spurs have often been accused of underwhelming during the Italian’s first full season in charge.

All too often have they made life difficult for themselves, with poor first-half performances during their last two outings requiring a huge effort to turn the game around.

Though, to their credit, Spurs have managed to do so, their record against teams who could feasibly challenge them for a top four spot this season has left a lot to be desired.

Spurs have lost in convincing fashion to Arsenal, Manchester United and Newcastle already, and were arguably lucky to take a draw away from Chelsea in August.

Liverpool, of course, are not without problems of their own having lost to Nottingham Forest and Leeds.

Ahead of the game, Klopp said: "It’s a massive game for us. We know Tottenham are well organised, defending with a high level and counter attacking.

“We saw their offensive power in the last two games when they had to chase. Spurs are in a good moment."
