Jurgen Klopp takes swipe at Brazil coach Tite after Liverpool star Fabinho's involvement

Jurgen Klopp has taken a swipe at Brazil manager Tite following Fabinho's hamstring injury.

The midfielder had been filling in at centre-back following the long-term injury to Virgil van Dijk. But Klopp 's solution abruptly came to a halt against Midtjylland.

Fabinho was replaced exactly 30 minutes into Liverpool's Champions League fixture vs Midtjylland after picking up a hamstring problem. Rhys Williams came on as his replacement.

How long Fabinho is out for is yet to be revealed but the timing couldn't be worse for Klopp.

The November international break is around the corner, however, and usually those two weeks provide a chance for injured players to buy some time.

Klopp, though, used it as a chance to take a swipe at Brazil boss Tite.

"I'm not sure if Tite's too worried because he plays him never so he will probably now not sit on the bench for the next three international games," said the Liverpool boss.

"For us it's obviously a proper blow but for now we don't know.

"Fab was not positive but not too negative as well so we will see, we have to wait for the scan tomorrow morning and then we will know more."

Discussing Fabinho's injury in more detail, he said: "It's exactly the last thing we needed. What can I say? I know he felt his hamstring, that's not good, he didn't feel it that much, he said he could have played on but with no sprints any more so that doesn't help in that position obviously.

"We'll see, we have to do a scan and then we'll know more, but that's not good, of course."
