Jurgen Klopp speaks out on Sadio Mane's anger during Liverpool win at Burnley

Jurgen Klopp has revealed there is no lingering problem after Sadio Mane's angry reaction in the dugout during Liverpool's win at Burnley.

Mane was visibly clearly unhappy after taking his place on the bench following his late substitution during the Reds' 3-0 win on Saturday evening.

Klopp confirmed the actions of the Senegalese, who scored Liverpool's second goal, were not related to him being replaced by Divock Origi with five minutes remaining.

Speculation instead concentrated on a moment during the second half when Mohamed Salah wasted an opportunity to pass to Mane when his team-mate was unmarked in front of goal.

And asked if he knew Klopp responded: “Yeah, I know!

“He was upset, that was obvious. Sadio cannot hide his emotions and I like that. But all sorted.

"We spoke about it and everything is fine. We are individuals, we are emotional.

"It was a situation in the game he wasn't happy about. That's completely fine.

“Would he do it (react) in exactly the same manner again? Probably not. But it happens.

“He didn't say any wrong words (to anyone), it just looked a little bit different to how he looks usually.”

Klopp added: “For me, it's just a little story. Thank God we are away for a week so if you write something about it we won't read it anyway.

“And in a week nobody will remember it anyway.

"It's a cool moment for it to happen! But it's all fine.”
