Jurgen Klopp sings interesting song to praise Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker

Jurgen Klopp knew who to thank after Liverpool earned a place in the FIFA Club World Cup final.

The Reds were forced to work hard before substitute Roberto Firmino’s injury-time winner secured a 2-1 triumph against Mexican side Monterrey here in Doha on Wednesday evening.

Klopp was interviewed on the pitch after the game in which he extolled the virtues of goalkeeper Alisson Becker, who made a string of important saves.

“They had their counter-attacks and maybe one or two long balls,” said the Reds boss.

“And yes, ‘All you need is Alisson Becker, Alisson Becker’.”

It was immediately thought Klopp was referencing The Beatles song All You Need Is Love.

However, the Reds boss was instead giving his version of Queen’s classic hit Radio Ga Ga, which he sings in praise of his keeper.

Alisson’s performance at coping under pressure underlined why another one bit the dust against Liverpool and why the show must go on in the Club World Cup as the Reds have one vision to become champions of the world. Er, Bohemian Rhapsody.

Liverpool will now take on Alisson’s Brazilian compatriots Flamengo in the final on Saturday evening.
