'I hope not' - Jurgen Klopp sends Erling Haaland warning to Liverpool striker Darwin Nunez
Jurgen Klopp hopes Liverpool striker Darwin Nunez does not become distracted by wanting to outdo Erling Haaland when the two big-money summer striker signings clash again on Sunday.
Nunez could eventually cost the Reds a club record £85million from Benfica while City are understood to have made an eye-watering £300m overall commitment when signing Haaland from Borussia Dortmund.

While the Liverpool man won the first battle in the Community Shield in July when scoring and winning a penalty on debut, it has been one of only two games in which Haaland has failed to net for City in racking up an astonishing 20 goals in 13 outings.

Liverpool 'interested' in signing Manchester United top target Frenkie De Jong
Liverpool are reportedly "interested" in signing unsettled Barcelona star Frenkie De Jong as part of a midfield rebuild under Jurgen Klopp.
The Dutchman was the number one target for Manchester United boss Erik Ten Hag in the summer and even got as far as agreeing a fee with the Spanish club, but De Jong wanted to remain at Barcelona.
De Jong is said to be "unhappy" with the way the Catalan side have treated him after he decided to stay at the club and has found himself on the bench a number of times under boss Xavi.
