The Dutch international has entered into the final year of his deal with the Reds.

Klopp was asked in his press conference ahead of the trip to Fulham about whether Wijnaldum's performances this season are a true indication of what an incredible professional the 30-year-old is.
"Absolutely," the manager replied.
"The character of Gini Wijnaldum has never been in doubt.
"He has been here a long time and played in the majority of games.
"He's helped us a lot in all the things we have achieved since he has been here too.
"A top player and a top character."
