Jürgen Klopp’s No2, Zeljko Buvac, has joined up with the new Liverpool manager and will help take the squad’s training session at the club’s Melwood base on Wednesday afternoon.
The 54-year-old Serb was Klopp’s assistant at Borussia Dortmund and Mainz, his two previous clubs, and he was also a team-mate at Mainz.
Wednesday’s training session will be Klopp’s third since taking over and is at 4pm, later than the 2.30pm starting time on Monday and Tuesday.
Klopp is expected to have the full Liverpool squad back for the first time on Wednesday following the international break before taking the side to Tottenham Hotspur for Saturday’s early kick-off in his first match as manager.
