Jurgen Klopp's new Liverpool contract has got some Arsenal fans saying the same thing

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is here to stay in the Premier League after signing a new contract until 2024.

The German has put pen to paper on a new deal at Anfield after guiding the Reds to Champions League glory last season, having defeated Tottenham 2-0 in the final in Madrid.

Klopp has also led Liverpool to the summit of the Premier League this season, with the Reds currently eight points clear of second-placed Leicester City at the top of the table after 16 games as the Merseyside outfit look to end 30 seasons without a league title.

But while the news of Klopp's new contract has understandably delighted Liverpool supporters, it has got rival fans talking.

And Arsenal supporters are among them, with some Gunners fans saying the same thing about Klopp, who joined Liverpool in 2015, when Arsene Wenger was still in charge of the north London side.

Here's what some Arsenal fans are saying on social media.

Meanwhile, the Liverpool boss has delivered a message to the Reds' Premier League rivals , having said that the news of his contract may not be good news for some, which include the London trio of Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham, along with Manchester City and Manchester United.

“We have decided to continue what work so far, [has been] not too bad," he said, speaking in a video published by Liverpool on social media to confirm the announcement.

“We agreed a new contract until 2024. That will be good news for some, not such good news for others, sorry, but you can switch the channel off now."
