Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp and captain Jordan Henderson both sympathised with Patrick Bamford after his goal was ruled out controversially by VAR on Saturday.
The Whites striker was the latest man to fall foul of the technology after he was adjudged to have been offside by the top of his arm.
Bamford was clearly stood behind the Crystal Palace defence as he was slid through by Mateusz Klich but VAR viewed his outstretched arm, which pointing to where he wanted the ball playing, had strayed beyond the last defender.
That goal came at a crucial moment in the match as it would have seen Leeds draw level in the game before they went on to lose 4-1.
With Liverpool defender Joe Gomez harshly penalised for handball against Manchester City on Sunday, Klopp and Henderson both admitted that players are struggling to know what to do with their arms.
"But, yes, handball, offside, armpit – all these kind of things," Klopp complained after the match.
"I don’t know why we constantly talk about it and not the people who can really make a difference talk about it much more.
"They might do it and are the only people in the world who think it’s exactly right like it is, and only us are the ones who think it’s not right like it is.
"I saw Saturday the (Patrick) Bamford armpit and it reminded me a lot of the Bobby Firmino armpit at Aston Villa (last season). I can’t wait for the first time a player scores a goal with the armpit.”
"To be fair to the referees, the game before [Leicester v Wolves] they have been consistent with it," Henderson said.
"They are going to the letter of the law. For players it is harsh, I feel for defenders. The pace with which Kevin de Bruyne crossed, it is hard for him [Gomez] to get out of the way.
"Everyone is finding it difficult to know where to put their arms. Hopefully, the refs can look at it and it shouldn't be given in both games."
