Jurgen Klopp rewards magnificent travelling Kop after Liverpool edge closer to Premier League title

It rounded off another incredible night to be a Liverpool supporter.

Moments earlier the final whistle had blown on a win that moved the relentless, record-breaking Reds ever closer to the Premier League title.

A Mohamed Salah penalty and a brilliantly breakaway goal from Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain ensured the runaway leaders won 2-0 at West Ham United to move a huge 19 points clear at the top.

Little wonder, then, the players were received rapturously by the travelling Kop when they walked over to the away stands at the London Stadium.

Led by captain Jordan Henderson, the Liverpool squad paid tribute to the supporters who had made the long journey to the capital in midweek.

But better was to follow when the Henderson and Co started to walk off the pitch and head back to the dressing room.

Free from the television cameras that track his every move at the end of live televised matches, Reds boss Jurgen Klopp delivered his trademark fist-pump celebration to the delight of the fans.

And now it should not be long before Klopp is doing the same after the title is sealed.
