Jurgen Klopp reveals the one thing that made him happy in Barcelona defeat

On reflection, it wasn't a night packed with positives as Liverpool come to terms with the fact their Champions League Jurgen Klopp sums up Lionel Messi perfectly in just one word as Liverpool crash

But manager Jurgen Klopp found something to be pleased about.

The Reds were beaten 3-0 in Barcelona and their manager accepts it will take something very special to turn things around.

But at least he found a fact to perk himself up with.

He said on BT Sport: "It's about scoring goals, they scored three and we scored none. I’m really happy with the performance but not the result.

Arsene Wenger wasn't as positive and thinks there is only one winner now.

"Mr Messi came in and said: “Let me finish the job”.

"Liverpool had a late chance, they should have scored. They will regret this chance but overall it is typical thing I have seen at Barcelona.

Klopp added: “No one will be interested but a few football nerds because it is about the result and we lost 3-0 but I really think this was our best Champions’ League away performance.

"There will be a time when I can use the game forever to show the boys what is possible.”
