Jurgen Klopp returns from holiday to plot Liverpool's Premier League title tilt

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has returned from holiday refreshed and ready to lead the Reds on their Premier League title charge.

Klopp strolled through the arrivals hall at Manchester Airport almost unnoticed on Sunday evening, shortly after his flight from Dubai had landed.

Manchester United and England star Jesse Lingard was also on that flight as he returned to England following some warm-weather training in the United Arab Emirates.

Liverpool are currently two points clear of the reigning champions Manchester City at the top of the Premier League, although they have played a game more than their title rivals.

The Reds host Tottenham at Anfield on Sunday and travel to Southampton five days later, before they return to Champions League action.

Klopp will hope that his side can maintain their advantage over City at the Premier League summit ahead of the two-legged clash with Porto.

The German coach admitted his side needed to win all their remaining seven games if they were to win a first top-flight title in 29 years.

"It was very important that we won today."

He added: "Tottenham next, an interesting game against a really good footballing team. Nothing is decided but we can make sure we stay in the race.

"We want to stay in the race."
