Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has responded to comments by Liverpool and Chelsea target Timo Werner ahead of the summer transfer window.
The RB Leipzig striker has been linked with a summer move to both Anfield and Stamford Bridge as Frank Lampard looks to increase his striking options during the off season in order to take pressure off top scorer Tammy Abraham.
Reports claim that the forward's release clause is significantly lower than first reported in a boost to Chelsea's hopes of landing the player. Sport1 have now claimed his release clause is actually worth just €30m (£25m) plus performance-based bonuses.
However, the German international has openly spoken of his admiration for Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool.
"Jurgen Klopp is the best coach in the world," he told Sky Germany . "There is much to suggest that I would fit in well with my style of play.
"But I don't think about that at the moment because we have so much to do with Leipzig. I won't rule out anything. We have the Euros in the summer, I want to focus on that tournament.
"Everything else I will think about after the season."
Speaking in his pre-match press conference ahead of the Premier League game against Watford on Saturday (via the Mirror ), Klopp responded to the player's comments, but insisted that there is nothing to say about a potential transfer.
"I prefer that when players speak about us they are positive, rather than saying 'that's the last club I would ever go to'," Klopp said.
"From that point of view it's obviously nice, but that's all- there's nothing else to say about it."
