Jurgen Klopp provides injury update on five Liverpool players ahead of Wolves clash

Jurgen Klopp has confirmed Jordan Henderson is set to be fit for Liverpool's clash with Wolves .

Henderson was forced off during the Boxing Day win at Leicester after taking a kick to the shin.

The Liverpool skipper was replaced by Adam Lallana and was expected to be a doubt for the visit of Wolves on Sunday.

But Klopp has confirmed Henderson is likely to be fit, confirming he had only taken a knock.

"The boys we had available should be available again. It looks like they should all be fine."

Liverpool are already without midfielders Fabinho and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, and defenders Dejan Lovren and Joel Matip.

Klopp added: "All positive but that again means unfortunately nothing in the first place because they should all be back in training by mid-January [but] how many games do we have until then, four or five? I’m not sure. So that’s a little bit of a problem but we have to see.

“Ox is walking around here without crutches, without a boot, but we have to wait until the medical department gives us the green light.

"Joel is doing well, Fab is doing well, Dejan is doing well, so I would say in February we will have them all back. Until then, we have to see.”

Klopp is likely to rotate his squad for the clash with Wolves following the rampant win at Leicester.

Xherdan Shaqiri and Divock Origi are likely to start, as is James Milner who scored from the bench at the King Power.

Wolves make the trip just 48 hours after their stunning comeback against Manchester City .
