With three games remaining in the campaign for both sides, Klopp's men can return to the summit with victory over the relegated Terriers at Anfield.
But the Merseysiders also have Barcelona to think about, with the first leg of their Champions League semi-final taking place next Tuesday.
Klopp has insisted he won't make wholesale changes to the side that beat Cardiff in south Wales on Sunday.

Fabinho came off the bench in that fixture but was substituted shortly after following a knock to the head.
Lovren didn't travel to Cardiff due to illness, while Adam Lallana has been sidelined for the last five games with a muscle injury.

Lovren returned to training on Wednesday, but all three's participation on Friday remains in doubt.
“All a bit questionable, we don’t know exactly in the moment," said Klopp. "We will have to see today.
“We gave them all a proper rest. Dejan trained yesterday so that’s OK probably and the other two we will see.”
Another player still looking for his first-team comeback is Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, who has missed the entirety of the current season through injury.
On the England midfielder, Klopp added: Ox trained, all good".
