Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has confirmed Jordan Henderson has been training, but whether he will feature against Leeds United is not yet decided.
The Yorkshire club make the trip to Anfield this weekend with the Reds looking to continue their unbeaten run at home.
Henderson, who missed the final four games of the victorious 2019/20 campaign, could be in contention to make his return after Klopp's latest comments.
In his press conference on Friday, Klopp was asked for an update on the Premier League winning captain as well as the likes of Xherdan Shaqiri and Kostas Tsimikas.

He told reporters: "Not decided yet. They are in training and we will make late decision. Looks rather promising. We have a lot of players available. Not all of them will be involved."
On the prospect of facing Marcelo Bielsa for the first time, Klopp added: "I admire him but I was never close enough to really [speak].
"His teams are exceptional. I analysed some games and looked at it. Different approach. I like him without knowing him as a proper character. Hardest working of all of us maybe."
"I remember the analysis around the Derby game, it was so much. I am not sure we have as much. We haven't seen any suspicious people around our training ground this week!" Klopp joked.
"He really pushes [his ideas] through and he is a success."

Leeds will make their first visit to Anfield in the league since 2003. On what to expect from Bielsa's outfit, Klopp said: "Leeds won't open up and and be naive.
"They are well drilled and the things they do are absolutely brilliant. They are really good organised but they will face challenges.
"The Premier League is different to the Championship, but they will do well in the Premier League, 100 per cent.
"If we are not ready for intensity then we have a problem. They are fresh and will be charged.
"But we will be as well, so let's give it a go."
