Jurgen Klopp has refused to concede defeat in the Premier League title-race despite Man City boasting an 11-point lead at the top of the table.
Liverpool beat Brentford on Sunday to leapfrog Chelsea, who had lost to Pep Guardiola’s men on Saturday, and move into second place.
The Reds boast a game in hand on the reigning champions but have it all to do if they are to reclaim the Premier League title, with City having won their last 12 league matches.

And while Klopp admitted normally you wouldn’t expect his side to make up such a gap, he’s not ruling anything out at this stage of the season.
“We don’t have to convince anybody outside to believe (we can win the title),” he told reporters. “If they want to believe, they can believe.
“If we would do something like this we wouldn’t do it in public. I think people are with us, they want to enjoy the ride. They are ready to go for it as much as we can.
“This is not the situation to talk about the title race. 11 points, one game in hand. In a normal world, nothing happens anymore but what is normal nowadays?
“We’ve tried to do our part. We have nothing to do with the rest.”
And Klopp was pleased by his side’s performance against the Bees following their disappointing midweek draw against Arsenal, insisting his side don’t listen to outside noise about their performances.
“Winning is good for confidence but I don’t think we struggled for confidence,” he said. “We can cut off the public noise.
“We knew against Arsenal what was not right but the world out there makes of it in the moment, obvious thing that a couple of players weren’t here, world class players by the way, we knew that.
“So we didn’t have to read it and could do our own thing and that’s what we did.”
