Jurgen Klopp couldn't hide his shock after it dawned on him just how bad Liverpool's home form has been in 2021.
The Reds returned to winning ways at Anfield on Saturday as they picked up their first win on home soil of the calendar year.
Having previously gone 68-matches unbeaten at home, Liverpool were without a win in eight matches at Anfield before beating Aston Villa this weekend.
And while Klopp knew it had been a while since his side's last home win, he couldn't contain his laughter when realising just how long it had been before his pre-match interview with LFC TV.
"When was the last game we won and we had an interview? Here!" the German queried ahead of the cameras rolling pitch-side after beating Villa.
"Against Spurs before Christmas," came the response with Klopp bursting into laughter in disbelief as he spluttered, "Before Christmas?!"
In footage realised in Liverpool's latest episode of ' Inside Anfield ', one of the LFC TV crew members then jokes, "Happy New Year!" as the Reds boss still struggles to comprehend that it's been so long.
"Really?! It was Spurs?!" Klopp again queries before proceeding with the interview.
Liverpool beat Tottenham 2-1 in mid-December thanks to a last-minute Roberto Firmino header to move top of the Premier League table.
However, the Reds' title-defence was quickly-derailed as their form unravelled in January.
Meanwhile, Liverpool are back at Anfield on Wednesday night as they host Real Madrid, needing to overcome a 3-1 deficit if they are to proceed to the Champions League semi-finals.
Hopefully this time and Klopp and his side won't have to wait four months for their next home win!
