Jurgen Klopp 'keen' on Ousmane Dembele, swap deal on the cards, and other Liverpool transfer rumours rated

Liverpool , but that has not stopped the rumour mill from spinning.

Jurgen Klopp has already made a couple of additions, but that has not prevented the Reds being linked with a few more enticing names.

The German is said to be content with the state of his squad heading into the second half of the season, but there is always room for improvement.

These are Saturday's Liverpool transfer rumours rated.

Klopp 'keen' on Barca winger

Who?

Ousmane Dembele, the Barcelona and France attacker.

Where?

El Mesmarque report that the £85 million-rated man could be moving to Anfield.

What?

Jurgen Klopp is said to be 'open to' the idea of signing Dembele, when in the past that has not been the case.

It seems highly unlikely to be a deal the Reds would look to complete this month, certainly, while Takumi Minamino has already arrived from Red Bull Salzburg and plays in a similar position.

It's a name that just won't go away, and Dembele will surely leave Barcelona at some point sooner rather than later for the good of his career, but time will tell where he ends up.

Swap deal on the cards?

Who?

Ugurcan Cakir, the Trabzonspor goalkeeper the Reds have been linked with over the last couple of weeks.

Where?

Regional Turkish paper Karadeniz Gazetesi, via Sport Witness, say that the Reds have made an offer of Loris Karius plus €10 million.

What?

The paper claims that the Reds have been mightily impressed with the 23-year-old, with the stopper producing 'amazing' statistics while he has been scouted.

Karius has been on loan at Besiktas, but the report states he will not be heading there as they cannot afford him permanently due to a poor financial situation.

Young keeper to depart

Who?

Shamal George, the 22-year-old shot stopper.

Where?

Tagblatt report that Swiss side St. Gallen are set to sign the youngster, and that he has already begun training with them.

What?

George had been on loan at Marine since September, but it appears that his next move could be confirmed imminently.

St. Gallen have been desperately short of goalkeepers recently, hence their interest, so a move would presumably at least see George get plenty of minutes.

His potential new side are currently third in the league table, behind only Young Boys and FC Basel.
