Jurgen Klopp has previously explained where he sees Philippe Coutinho's best position on the pitch, amid speculation that Arsenal have been offered the former Liverpool playmaker.
The Brazilian midfielder, who is currently on loan at Bayern Munich from Barcelona, has been heavily tipped for a return to England after his disappointing spell at the Nou Camp.
Despite his performances in the Bundesliga this season, scoring eight goals and providing six assists in 28 appearances, the reigning champions of Germany have confirmed that they will not be signing Coutinho on a permanent basis.
And according to Sky in Italy journalist Fabrizio Romano, Barcelona have offered Coutinho to Arsenal on loan.
Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta has spoken of the need to add creativity to his side in the summer transfer window, and Coutinho could be considered as an option.
But it is claimed that Arsenal have been focusing on getting a deal for Willian over the line.
With the Brazilian set to be announced this week, Arsenal can now switch their attention back to other signings, with a decision to be made on Coutinho.
If Coutinho does return to the Premier League, Gunners boss Arteta has already been told how he could get the best from the 28-year-old.
"He played his favourite position ten with us relatively seldom, he can play a great eight and a really great left wing", Reds boss Klopp told Kicker last August.
"Because he is "strong enough in small spaces, but also absolutely fast enough for large spaces.
"Since Alessandro del Piero, who fired the balls into the corner from similar positions, I have not seen anyone do the same thing in this one Frequency, pulling inward from the left in closing actions."
Arteta has switched between 4-2-3-1 and 3-4-3 systems since being appointed Arsenal head coach, and both would suit Coutinho as he could play as a '10' or from the left-wing.
This would allow the former Reds star to play alongside Nicolas Pepe - who accommodates the right flank - and Willian, who is able to also play across the front line and in a deeper midfield role.
Captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang could then theoretically play in his preferred centre-forward role.
Coutinho could also be used as an '8', potentially alongside Dani Ceballos and Thomas Partey in a midfield three behind the attacking trio.
Alternatively, Arteta could adopt a more fluid approach that allows both Coutinho and Willian to switch roles.
