Jurgen Klopp has found his 'lynchpin' as new type of Liverpool team emerges

Andrew Davies, Crosby

Forget about the Manchester derby. We can still do it. City only have to draw once. LFC are patient and doggedly effective.

Cardiff was testament to this. A continual battering of a team until it cracks. All of our players have played their part in this.

Matip has regained the form of his first season. Fabinho is the lynchpin of our side, breaking up opposition attacks, passing progressively. Excellent positioning and reading of the game.

Milner has total commitment and the valuable experience of being a title winner. Yet there is no contract extension talk. He is a total pro who deserves another two years. The Ribena will keep him going!

Huddersfield next. No complacency. They have nothing to lose. Some of their players may not get the chance to play at Anfield again. So they will want to impress.

Our team is calm and confident. The Reds must put its nervousness aside. Enjoy the ride. Greatness awaits us.

Jurgen Klopp sets his Liverpool players a challenge in Manchester City title race

Jay Riley, Litherland

It’s been an incredible season for the Reds and we now have only three Premier League games remaining.

We’ve already amassed our biggest points tally in Premier League history and that would have been enough to be crowned Champions in at least 15 campaigns in the past, however this season we are up against a complete freak of a team in Manchester City and even if we get 97 points by winning all of our last three games, we would still only finish in second place, which would be heart-breaking.

All we can do is keep winning our games and hope for a miracle, they do happen, so we simply just have to still believe.

There are a massive few weeks coming up for the club with a two-legged Champions League semi-final against Barcelona on the horizon as well, let’s get behind them and hope we end this season with some much needed silverware.

Whatever happens we have to be immensely proud of this Liverpool team.

Jurgen Klopp outlines Liverpool's summer transfer stance and rules out signing of star name

Michael Atherton, Crosby

Sunday’s victory over Cardiff was another example of this Liverpool team delivering once more under pressure.

It has been an outstanding season so far and regardless of whether we win the league or not Jurgen Klopp and his players must be applauded for a campaign of continued excellence. Just one league defeat and the potential to finish on 97 points is incredible.

Well done to the four players named in the PFA team of the year too.

After Manchester City’s victory on Wednesday you would say it is clutching at straws to believe one of Burnley, Leicester or Brighton will cause an upset between now and the end of the season. The team just needs to continue taking one game at a time though as stranger things have happened.

The upcoming Champions League semi-final against Barcelona is massive. Destiny is in our hands to deliver a sixth European Cup and it should be a fantastic tie.
