Jurgen Klopp gives latest Liverpool injury news ahead of Chelsea clash

Jurgen Klopp has given the latest Liverpool injury news ahead of the clash with Chelsea on Sunday.

The Premier League champions arrive at Stamford Bridge this weekend with both teams having won their opening games of the campaign.

The Blues are seen as potential title contenders this season and to go head-to-head with Liverpool and Manchester City after their summer spending spree.

This weekend will be a real test for Frank Lampard's side against last season's runaway leaders, but there don't seem to be any more injury concerns for Liverpool.

New signing Konstantinos Tsimikas is out, while Xherdan Shaqiri and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain are also set to miss the match.

"It's an Intense week, a few little things here or there but should be okay," Klopp said in his pre-match press conference.

"Nobody is coming back and the rest we will see. Two days to go, two training sessions but everything seems okay."

Chelsea are expecting to welcome back Mateo Kovacic this week, while Ben Chilwell and Thiago Silva have also been training with the first team for the first time.

Lampard will be hoping to have Christian Pulisic back for the match.

The Blues boss will be speaking to the media at 1.30pm.
