Liverpool suffered their worst league defeat since 1963 on an evening of abject horror against Aston Villa.
Mohamed Salah scored twice but the Reds were hammered 7-2 in their Premier League clash at Villa Park on Sunday.
The result means Jurgen Klopp now has some difficult decisions ahead of the trip to Everton on Saturday week.
And here we look ahead to the changes the Reds boss could make next time out.
Gomez to go?
It was a tough afternoon for the Liverpool defence to say the least.
Only Andy Robertson emerged with any sort of credit, but a lack of options makes it likely Klopp cannot introduce too many changes.
Adrian will have to remain in goal with Alisson Becker out, with it being a huge call to throw 21-year-old Caoimhin Kelleher into the Goodison derby.
Trent Alexander-Arnold will be given another chance to atone, as will Virgil van Dijk.
And with Joel Matip likely to still be out, the only alternative to Joe Gomez, who had a nightmare at Villa Park, would be to push Fabinho back into centre-back - although he wasn't great either.
Henderson returns
The midfield wasn't much better at the weekend, a major surprise given it has been one of Liverpool's strongest areas during the last 18 months.
At least there will be scope for change with Jordan Henderson, an unused substitute at Villa, back available and the Reds hopeful Thiago Alcantara will be healthy having completed his self-isolation period after contracting coronavirus.
Gini Wijnaldum and Naby Keita could find their starting positions under threat, even if Fabinho drops back into defence.

James Milner and Curtis Jones came on against Villa and the former in particular will surely have a chance of helping shore up the midfield, not least given he won't be away on international duty this week.
Firmino decision approaches
There's no doubt Roberto Firmino hasn't been at his consistent best this season.
And should Sadio Mane be available after also testing positive for coronavirus, it leaves Klopp with a significant point to ponder in attack.
Diogo Jota has done well on the left since coming in and, should Firmino be benched, could Mane play down the middle? Or will Mohamed Salah be switched there and Mane put on the right?
Or does Mane come in on the left and Takumi Minamino replaces Firmino?
Klopp has options up front. Against Everton, it will be about choosing the right ones.
