Jurgen Klopp facing major Arsenal decision as Liverpool boss prepares for Harvey Elliott call

Liverpool were at almost full strength to see off the challenge of Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League on Sunday.

But it will almost certainly be all change when the Reds once again entertain North London opposition this week.

Jurgen Klopp's side are at home to Arsenal in the League Cup fourth round on Wednesday night.

The Reds boss fielded a completely different starting line-up for the previous round's 2-0 win at MK Dons.

And here we look ahead to the changes Klopp could make when his side aim to take a step closer to a Wembley final.

The player who won't change

Klopp is again poised to overhaul his starting line-up in the competition.

But he may be thwarted in his attempts to completely change the side, with Joel Matip still expected to be out.

It means Dejan Lovren may be asked to continue at centre-back alongside Joe Gomez, as was the case at MK Dons last month.

With Ki-Jana Hoever on international duty with Holland U17s, Neco Williams - who has been training with the first team - could make a debut at right-back.

Summer signing Sepp van den Berg also sat out the under-23s game at the weekend with one eye on this fixture. Could he instead start at centre-back?

Giving the Old Trafford three another chance

Adam Lallana, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Naby Keita all made a positive difference coming off the bench at Manchester United earlier this month.

Indeed, Oxlade-Chamberlain and Keita then both started and impressed in the Champions League win at Genk a few days later.

However, the trio were unused against Tottenham.

And having been the midfield at MK Dons, there's a good chance they will reunite for the Gunners clash.

To Elliott or not?

Harvey Elliott was a standout performer against MK Dons, becoming the youngest ever Liverpool player to start a game.

However, the availability of Divock Origi could mean the 16-year-old starts from the bench.

Rhian Brewster will hope for a long-awaited first senior appearance at Anfield, while the form of Curtis Jones at U23 level suggests he deserves a similar opportunity.
