Jurgen Klopp delivers great Mohamed Salah news as Liverpool prepare to become world champions

Jurgen Klopp has declared Mohamed Salah over his ankle problems as Liverpool prepare to take a step nearer becoming champions of the world.

The Reds boss admits Salah was hampered for several weeks by the injury suffered when fouled by Leicester City's Hamza Choudhury back in October.

The Egyptian subsequently sat out the draw at Manchester United – the only Premier League game the Reds haven't won this season – and was an unused substitute in the victories over Crystal Palace and Everton.

Salah's brace at the weekend against Watford moved him on to 13 goals for the season with four coming in his last three games.

The forward is expected to line up for the Reds on Wednesday evening when they .

And asked if Salah is now fully recovered from his ankle injury, Klopp said: “Absolutely, that’s exactly how it is now.

“It is our life, it is the life of a footballer, you get a knock, but you don’t have time really to deal with it.

“Then everybody thinks, medical department, coach, player, everything is fine, until then you get the next knock in the game, and you don’t say ‘oh, I feel it again’. It just makes it that bit more difficult.

“The boys are so quick, and they have to make all these decisions, what they do in a game is completely instinctive and your body gives you information without coming here into your head, it just stops here in the heart.

“You have something, a knock and it hurts and you can not really move, with the leg like that it is not good. you saw a few finishes from Mo two or three weeks ago and I thought ‘okay, that’s interesting...’.

“So now obviously you can see he’s back, and that helps us a lot.”
