Liverpool have been handed a boost ahead of their trip to Crystal Palace after Jurgen Klopp confirmed Joel Matip should be available after returning to training.
The Cameroonian missed the Reds' victory over Tottenham Hotspur in midweek with a back injury, having been substituted at half-time against Fulham last weekend after reporting the issue.
But after returning to training at the end of the week, Klopp has confirmed he expects the centre-back to be available for his side's trip to Selhurst Park.
“Joel trained yesterday completely normal, so it looks like,” the Liverpool boss confirmed on Friday.
“I’m not 100,000 per cent sure but it looks like.”
Liverpool face Crystal Palace in the capital on Saturday lunchtime in the Premier League's 12.30pm kick-off and will be looking to preserve their three-point lead at the top of the table.
