Jurgen Klopp confirms huge selection boost for Liverpool ahead of Man City match

Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that Sadio Mane, Fabinho and Alisson are back in training for Liverpool, whilst Ozan Kabak is available after receiving international clearances.

All four players missed Liverpool's defeat to Brighton & Hove Albion on Wednesday night but could make a return against Manchester City this weekend.

City come into the match without Sergio Aguero, Kevin de Bruyne and Nathan Ake themselves but will be confident of extending their 13-match unbeaten Premier League run at Anfield.

Liverpool have struggled on their own patch after surrendering a 68-game unbeaten run with back-to-back home defeats.

However, they're boosted by the return of several key players. Mane has missed Liverpool's two matches, whilst Fabinho hasn't played since January 24.

Alisson missed the midweek game due to illness but should return to the starting XI whilst deadline day signing Kabak has been granted official clearance to make his Premier League debut.

"International clearance, yes, which is great," Klopp said when asked about Kabak.

"All three boys, Ali (Alisson) is much better, good enough to have an individual session today. Sadio (Mane) and Fab (Fabinho) will be in parts of training today, parts of team training and we will see."

When asked if Kabak could make his debut, Klopp said: "I don't know. In our situation, we will see how can play again, who should play again and who shouldn't play again, all these kind of things and we will see.

"In an ideal world, you'd have a few weeks working together on defensive things. On organisation, all these things. Ozan and Ben had an analysis meeting yesterday after training where they got shown all the stuff we do usually, like a centre-half movie.

"Today we'll have a proper session, tomorrow proper session and we will see, I don't know yet."
