Jurgen Klopp chases Sean Dyche down Anfield tunnel after late VAR check

Jurgen Klopp was spotted chasing Sean Dyche down the Anfield tunnel at half-time during Liverpool's Premier League clash with Burnley on Thursday night.

With the sides drawing 0-0 at the break, referee Mike Dean kept the players on the Anfield pitch following the whistle to allow a VAR check following an altercation between Fabinho and Ashley Barnes.

The Brazilian was booked for his part in the incident, which had prompted a coming-together between both sets of players on the pitch at the time, though the Burnley man avoided a caution having already been booked earlier in the game.

But it wasn't just the players caught up in the heat of the moment, with Klopp and Dyche caught on camera exchanging heated words in the tunnel following a disagreement in response to on-pitch clash as the German followed his Burnley counterpart back towards the dressing rooms.

Fabinho appeared to aim a kick at Barnes, and it sparked something of a melee between the two sets of players.

The Brazilian was shown a yellow card, but a VAR review checked a possible red, and this drew Klopp back out from the tunnel, where he had been heading to address his players during the break.

Dyche could then be seen saying something to Klopp as he himself made his way to the dressing room.

Klopp did a double take before turning around and angrily pursuing Dyche, waving his arms and gesturing angrily.

Dyche fired back before eventually making his way down towards the changing rooms, leaving a seething Klopp behind him.

It's yet to be seen if the managers will confirm once the match has concluded what was being said.
