Jurgen Klopp celebration: Liverpool boss runs onto the pitch to celebrate stoppage-time winner with Alisson Becker

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp ran onto the Anfield pitch to celebrate after Divock Origi struck a late winner to seal a 1-0 win over Everton in the Merseyside derby.

The German coach was an animated figure on the touchline during the late stages of the game as his side were frustrated by their city rivals.

He sent on Daniel Sturridge and Divock Origi in an attempt to change their fortunes and it was the forgotten man Origi who made the biggest impact, capitalising on an error from Jordan Pickford to head home in the 96th-minute.

The goal sparked wild celebrations from the Liverpool bench, with Klopp sprinting onto the field before full time to embrace goalkeeper Alisson Becker, with his players celebrating in the corner.

Klopp was seen grinning and punching the air with delight before returning to the Liverpool dugout and hugging a member of his backroom coaching staff.

The victory means Liverpool are still just two points behind leaders Manchester City in the title race and maintain their unbeaten start to the season, having not lost any of their 14 games in the campaign so far.
