Jurgen Klopp and Sir Kenny Dalglish messages leaves Liverpool announcer George Sephton 'speechless'

Anfield stadium announcer George Sephton has been sent messages by Jurgen Klopp and Sir Kenny Dalglish.

Sephton has been the ‘Voice of Anfield’ since the early 1970s, and he’s recently released a book of the same title.

Sephton was appearing on Channel 4’s show Steph’s Packed Lunch to promote his book, which has been fore worded by Dalglish.

George also spoke about what it means to him to have his book’s foreword written by Dalglish, Sephton said: “The magic words at the top, foreword by Kenny. What he’s written is unbelievable.

“If I’m feeling a bit blue, I can just go and open those pages.

“Life doesn’t get any better.”

Well for him it did because just after he said those words, video messages from Dalglish and Klopp were shown, as they sent their well wishes.

Klopp said: “Hi George, congratulations. Finally it’s out there, your fantastic book, written by a true LFC legend.

“I hope it goes really well, I hope you are well.

“Take care, see you soon, hopefully in the stadium, in a fully packed stadium.

“Until then, yours, Boss.”

While Dalglish said: “Hi George, hope you’re well. You deserve everything you’ve got and you’ve a fantastic tale to tell.

“Good luck, all the best and hope to see you at the Crystal Palace game.”

After seeing the messages, Sephton said: “I am not often speechless, what did I say about life doesn’t get any better.

“That’s finished me off!”
