Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp admitted: "I didn't start it" when asked about a tunnel row with Sean Dyche.
The Reds' 68- game unbeaten run at Anfield was ended by Burnley on Thursday night after an Ashley Barnes penalty secured a 1-0 win for the visitors.
It leaves Liverpool fourth in the Premier League and six points behind league leaders Manchester United and four adrift of Manchester City, who have played a game fewer.
Away from the drama on the field, Klopp was spotted chasing Dyche down the Anfield tunnel at half-time after a scuffle between the two sets of players.
With the sides drawing 0-0 at the break, referee Mike Dean kept the players on the Anfield pitch following the whistle to allow a VAR check after an altercation between Fabinho and Ashley Barnes, which saw the Liverpool defender booked.
However, Klopp and Dyche were caught on camera exchanging heated words in the tunnel following a disagreement in response to the on-pitch clash.
Klopp did a double-take before turning around and angrily pursuing Dyche, waving his arms and gesturing angrily. The Burnley boss fired back before eventually making his way down towards the changing rooms, leaving a seething Klopp behind him.
Asked about the incident after the match, Klopp said: “If he’s not talking about it, I’m not talking about it. I didn’t start it, but it’s all good.”
Dyche was asked the same question and he said: "Look, you come to these places. We are allowed to actually fight, we are allowed to try and win, that's all it was.
"We said a couple of things but absolutely nothing out of the norm. It was two managers fighting for their teams, trying to win the game. There is nothing wrong with that."
