Germany legend Jurgen Klinsmann sent a classy message to the England team and their fans after they emerged victorious on Monday evening.
The Germans were knocked out at the last-16 stage at Euro 2020 after a stellar 2-0 win from England at Wembley booked their place in the quarter-finals.
It was a close affair for the majority of the clash, but England's slight edge paid off as Raheem Sterling tucked home from close range thanks to a fine ball from Luke Shaw.
Harry Kane then put the game beyond doubt with a glancing header in the final five minutes.
The victory means England will face either Sweden or Ukraine in the quarter-final on Saturday evening.

The BBC panel of Gary Lineker, Rio Ferdinand and Alan Shearer all got carried away in the celebrations.
And despite being understandably disappointed at his nation's exit, fellow pundit Klinsmann was gracious in defeat.
The 1990 World Cup and Euro 1996 winner said: "Well deserved from England, they believed and they dominated the second half.

"Germany had two or three big chances but they didn't use them - England used theirs so well deserved, a fantastic night for England."
As a player who has been there and done it on the biggest stage internationally, Klinsmann admitted that things were looking good for England to go all the way.
"This is England's moment," he went on. "You've got to realise, you go through to the quarter-finals, and they can play in a semi-final here. There may be a sell-out crowd in the final...
"It's not going to be an easy road to the final, but it's doable and now they've shown the belief.
"Harry Kane broke through and scored his first goal, the energy is high, so you've got to take advantage of that and win this (Euros)."
Former England striker Shearer praised Gareth Southgate for being patient with his substitutes and his tactical decision to change up the formation to mirror Germany's.
"What an occasion. The atmosphere was absolutely amazing," said Shearer.

"Well done to the England players, well done to Gareth Southgate because he had a plan before the game.
"Plenty of impatient people in this stadium were shouting for more forward players on the pitch but he had his game plan, he put Grealish on at the right time and they got a little bit of luck when they needed it at 1-0 when Muller went through, you'd expect him to score there.
"It was a very dominant performance and they did what they had to."
