Juniper Green Energy commissions 305 MWp of renewable capacity in Gujarat

New Delhi: Juniper Green Energy on Wednesday said it has strengthened its footprint in Gujarat with the commissioning of 305 MWp of renewable capacity for Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd.

The company has commissioned projects across Surendranagar, Aravalli, Devbhumi Dwarka and adjoining districts of Gujarat.

According to a company statement, Juniper Green Energy Ltd, a renewable energy independent power producer in India, has commissioned the projects under multiple Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) signed with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd (GUVNL), through its subsidiaries.

The commissioned portfolio comprises 183 MWp of solar capacity and 122 MW of wind capacity.

As part of the hybrid portfolio in Surendranagar, Aravalli and adjoining districts of Gujarat, Juniper Green Energy has commissioned 70.56 MWp of solar capacity under its 150 MW hybrid project on April 23 , 2026 (commissioned 71 days ahead of the Scheduled Commercial Operation Date (SCOD).

The company has also commissioned 42.42 MWp of solar capacity under its 120 MW hybrid project on May 14, 2026 (commissioned 148 days ahead of the SCOD) and 70.07 MWp of solar capacity under another 150 MW hybrid project on June 3, 2026 (commissioned 30 days ahead of the SCOD).

In Devbhumi Dwarka, Juniper Green Energy has completed the commissioning of its two key projects --50.40 MW of wind capacity under its 50 MW wind power project and 72.45 MW under its 70 MW wind power project.
