Scottish gin fans will be delighted to hear that Scotland's original gin festival will be returning to the capital this summer after two years off.
Juniper Festival will be taking place at Summerhall on June 17 and 18, and bringing together the best Gin brands across the country for an exciting interactive celebration.
With over 30 producers confirmed and a full programme of tasting and masterclasses, the organisers, Summerhall Drinks Lab say this year’s edition is set to be their most exciting event yet.
The team say they will have the best Gin distilleries in the country all under one roof for visitors to have a chance to try their favourite drinks and chat all things juniper to the top producers.

Noru Innes, co-owner of Pixel Spirits, who will be exhibiting at the event, said: “This will be our second visit to the outstanding Juniper Festival, and we take great pride in attending.
"It is a truly sensational couple of days where people get to meet brands from large to small and get to meet the amazing people in the industry doing extraordinary things.”
Each stand will be filled with some of the biggest names and most exciting up and coming local craft producers showcasing their latest releases and exclusives.
Many of the exhibitors will also be selling drinks from their stand, giving the visitors the opportunity to buy a refreshing G&T or gin cocktail while they browse.
Managing Director at Summerhall Drinks Lab and the Juniper Festival Jamie Shields said: “Since 2014 we've offered a great range of established and new gin brands from around the country and this year is no exception. Meeting the distillers and producers and finding a new favourite is always a highlight for our guests."
Jamie added that this year’s edition is to be the most interactive to date with experiences including talks, masterclasses, and boozy experiments happening throughout the day.
Visitors will be able to learn everything about cocktail making, gin and food pairing and will even be able to create their own mixers in some unique interactive experiences.
Jamie explained sustainability is at the core of what they do, with the festival already being single-use plastic-free for five years, he said guests won't need to feel guilty about the planet while they enjoy gins from eco-friendly brands and learn how to create waste-free cocktails.
He added: “After a couple of years off we are all very excited to be back in Summerhall tasting fantastic gin with great people! At the Drinks Lab we excel at putting on interactive drinks experiences all year round, so we wanted to bring a little of that flavour to the Juniper Festival.”
Tickets are on sale now through the Juniper Festival website. For only £10 they’ll give you access to the festival, a welcome drink, and samples from all exhibiting brands.
For anyone wanting to experience the additional interactive activities at this year’s festival, wristbands can be purchased for a discounted fee if bought in advance or for full price on the day.
