Junior football's gone to the dogs: Here's an Ayrshire XI that's simply pawesome

The naysayers claim Junior football has gone to the dogs.

Well on this occasion they're right.

Last week we posted a picture (see below) of a scarf-clad Auchinleck Tabot supporting pooch at a Sectional League Cup clash against Darvel.

It got us thinking about a dog-inspired Ayrshire Juniors XI and we asked readers to go pun-crazy with suggestions.

With a little help from the @AyrshireJuniors team we've managed to come up with a starting XI.

When it came to picking a team name @RossFootball helpfully suggested Ardrossan Winton Rovers.

But a huge tip of the hat must go to @MarkGz11 who sounded out Maybole's very own Carlo Walkies for the manager's job.

We reckon winning the league would be a walk in the park for this lot.
