Junior Andre set for success as debut single goes viral despite not being released yet

Junior Andre looks set to emulate his famous dad with his unreleased debut song already going viral.

The 16-year-old is following in dad Peter's footsteps by going into the music industry and he gave his fans a sneak preview of his first hit Slide earlier this month.

Posting a video on TikTok, the eldest child of Peter Andre and Katie Price was seen miming and dancing to his new tune while the studio was blasting out his vocals in the background.

The clip, which was his first on the video-focused social network platform, already has more than 847,000 views, while another video of Junior singing the hit has broke the one million barrier.

The initial 31-second video - captioned: "A little something we've been cooking up" - brought praise from rapper Lady Leshurr, who commented saying: "Give it to dem", followed by an handclapping emoji. Peter also wrote: "Amazing son".

Fans also gushed over the soundtrack, with one user commenting: "I think we need to completely blow this up and get him to no1 on the radio! This is unreal."

Another said: "I want it on Spotify already!!"

A third person wrote: "Gonna have to listen to this on repeat for summer."

Junior, who has signed a record deal with Columbia Records, has only posted five videos on TikTok but has already racked up more than 245,500 followers and over 270,000 likes on his profile at the time of writing.

In comparison, his 49-year-old dad has over 728,600 fans and nearly four million likes on his account, however time is on Junior's side.

Peter, who has three number one hits in the UK with Flava, I Feel You and Mysterious Girl, is managing his teenage son and spoke about wanting to give "freedom" but ensuring he is on the right path to success.

Speaking on Lorraine to stand-in host Christine Lampard last month, he said: "I took him to the studio and he got in the booth and everyone was like ‘oh!’ And I said ‘look, let's focus on him for right now’.

"I am managing him in the sense I am there with him all the way. We want to give him some artistic freedom.

"It makes me proud by also scared, at 16 that is what I wanted, my parents were scared and I had to prove to them that I would be okay."
