Edgar Ramirez has spoken about his frustration and devastation as the Covid-19 pandemic kills four people he was close to, including three family members.
The Venezuelan star, 44, also pleaded with those who can get the vaccine to do so to try to prevent more deaths and "help save those around you".
The actor, who has been in movies such as Zero Dark Thirty and The Bourne Ultimatum, took to Instagram on Wednesday to share his grief in a lengthy post.
He started off by begging his followers to read his post, stating it was the "most painful and the most intimate" message he has ever had to publish.

He said: "At times, I feel like it is a nightmare from which I am going to wake up, but I know it is not. That this is as real as the air that at this moment it is difficult for me to breathe.”
He went on to urge his followers to watch an interview he held with Dr. Anthony Fauci, Chief Medical Advisor to the President of the United States on why it's important for those "lucky enough to access a vaccine" to get it.
He described how in less than 24 hours his aunt Lucy and uncle Guillermo had died due to Covid. Then, in further devastating news, another of his aunt's brother-in-laws died after months of complications due to the virus.
The three deaths followed the passing of his grandmother and agent, according to the star.
Edgar emotionally wrote: "My heart can't just take more pain. I am sad, I am frustrated, I am devastated.
"It's been weeks and weeks of my family being played, tortured and jerked around by this cruel, treacherous and violent disease which mercilessly ended up killing them all.

"I can't stand this void in my chest, this metallic taste in my mouth, this crippling headache that doesn't seem to soothe. These waves of hopelessness that I refuse to let take root in my soul."
He revealed that none of those he mentioned had been vaccinated as they didn't have access in his native Venezuela.
He concluded by saying it breaks his heart that people in America were snubbing the vaccine and said that he encourages everyone to "follow science".
Actress Jennifer Garner, photographer Kevin Tachman and comedian Fortune Feimster were among the famous faces who sent their condolences to the star and his family.
