June Lockhart, the “TV mom” known to millions as the kindly figure on Lassie and Lost in Space, has died at her home in Santa Monica. She was 100 years old.
Her death was announced by a spokesman, Harlan Boll, on Saturday.
“She was very happy up until the very end, reading the New York Times and LA Times every day,” he said. “It was very important to her to stay focused on the news of the day.”
