
Last year, a report by the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi revealed that air pollution can be reduced by 15 to 25 percent by tackling the capital’s civic issues like filling potholes, fixing unpaved roads and clearing garbage dump to eliminate road dust.
Newslaundry visited the institute which witnessed satisfactory air quality due to rainfall on Monday. The nearest air quality monitoring station at Aurobindo Marg pegged the AQI at 93.
