An accident which left a car flipped on its side has blocked a junction where it meets a busy road.
The car is currently lying on its side at the point where Brookfield Drive meets Long Lane in Aintree.
Merseyside Police confirmed to the ECHO the road was currently closed following a crash between two vehicles at around 1pm today (February 6.)

A Force Incident Manager at Merseyside Police said there were no injuries following the crash - but the road will remain closed while the car is flipped on its side.
They added there was damage to bollards on the road so police would be looking to clear the damage before reopening the road.
An image of the current scene shows a police blockade on Long Lane stopping cars from turning right down Brookfield Drive.
Traffic appears to be able to move freely if cars continue on Long Lane however.
Merseyside Police added it hopes to have the road reopened shortly once the car is cleared and the damage has been cleaned up.
