‘Jumped upwards’: Passenger describes moment train derailed near Lewes

  • Two people were seriously injured and 18 others hurt when a train derailed between Haywards Heath and Lewes in Sussex on Thursday.

  • Passenger Rob Bradley was travelling with his six-year-old daughter.
  • He described how his carriage “jumped upwards” and skidded along the tracks.
