Since there are tons of characters, it can be problematic to find the best one, which is why we have listed down the best characters in this Jump Stars tier list. Jump Stars is a new Roblox game that draws heavily from the hit mobile game, Brawl Stars. Players have to choose from a list of different characters from their favorite anime and challenge other players in various modes.
Jump Stars: All Characters Ranked
We've ranked all units in Jump Stars, and this list will be updated regularly as new units are added to the game. To achieve a higher win rate, selecting higher-tier units will yield optimal results. For more chances of getting the best units, make sure to redeem all Jump Stars codes.
Tier | Character |
---|---|
S | Goju, Mob |
A | Dracula, Ichin, Sosuke, Zoru |
B | Guts, Joltero, Luffo |
C | Itaduri, Orehimi, Vegita |
D | Goko, Naroto, Tanjeuro |
Meta (S Tier)
Meta units are the strongest in Jump Stars right now. All characters mentioned in this tier have strong abilities, base stats, and their gear is powerful. When all these aspects are combined, you get overpowered characters who can win almost every game.
Character | Pros & Cons |
---|---|
![]() Goju |
+ Goju releases a strong curse energy ball, which can have a long range depending on how long you hold the attack button for. This allows him to snipe enemies from a long distance. + His ultimate is ideal CC due to pulling all enemies near it and exploding to deal damage. This is a massive threat to all enemies since he can easily wipe out entire teams. |
![]() Mob |
+ Extremely high damage, which is further enhanced after filling the emotion meter. Mob can shred all enemies without any issues. + His ultimate is one of the best in the game. It can pick up all objects and opponents in an area. The more things you pick up, the more damage you deal when throwing them in any direction (Magneto from Marvel Rivals style). |
Powerful (A Tier)
Some of these units, like Dracula and Zoru, are extremely powerful and can even be listed as S-tier if given a few buffs. All characters in this tier are strong, and you can use them without any worries if you don't have the meta units.
Character | Pros & Cons |
---|---|
![]() Dracula |
+ Deals tons of damage due to his high attack speed. He can shred through all enemies without even getting into danger. + His attacks heal him, making his sustainability high. |
![]() Zoru |
+ While a bit reliant on hitting enemies, Zoru's attacks can knock up enemies and deal tons of damage when he reaches stage 3. + His ultimate can slice through all enemies. Due to its high range, even enemy ranged units aren't safe. |
![]() Sosuke |
+ Due to having three strong slashes as basic attacks, Sosuke can shred through enemies quickly. This is especially true if you upgrade him a few times. + His ultimate can hit all enemies in a straight line, making him a huge threat in capture the point and narrow areas. |
![]() Ichin |
+ Ichin has tons of mobility thanks to his basic ability that lets him quickly dash a long distance while being invisible. This is great tool to chase ranged characters that can be annoying otherwise. + His melee attack damage is quite high. This makes it easy to hit enemies a few times and eliminate them. |
Mid (B Tier)
B-tier characters in Jump Stars have potential but are held back due to their flaws. Some of them, like Guts and Luffo, have the potential to be better due to their stats, gear, and abilities. However, the rest aren't strong without upgrading them a few times.
Character | Pros & Cons |
---|---|
![]() Guts |
+ Guts deals tons of damage with his Dragon Slayer attacks. + His ultimate is ideal for clearing zones and dealing tons of DPS. - His attack speed is slow, making him easy to avoid and kite. |
![]() Luffo |
+ Luffo has the benefit of both a ranged attack and a melee one. His attacks can stretch to target enemies at a distance. + His ultimate is strong in maps with narrow passages. - When compared to most other characters, Luffo is quite weak due to his low stats and weak gear. |
![]() Joltero |
+ Due to having a high attack speed, he can dish out good DPS. + Joltero's ultimate is great for clearing the point since it slams in an area to deal massive damage. - Chasing ranged enemies can be somewhat problematic due to Joltero not having good mobility spells. |
Situational (C Tier)
While some of the characters have decent abilities in the Jump Stars C tier, they are extremely situational. You can try them out, but there are tons of better options available. If you have no other choice, then playing with these characters is fine, and you can even upgrade them a few times to make them more viable.
Character | Pros & Cons |
---|---|
![]() Orehimi |
+ Her ultimate is great for healing the team in an AoE. This is particularly useful in capturing point matches because you can place your ultimate on the point to have more sustainability. - She doesn't do enough damage due to having only one projectile before reloading. - Orehimi is squishy compared to other characters. This makes her vulnerable to attacks, especially melee. |
![]() Vegita |
+ His attacks are strong, considering you get him for free at the start of the game. Due to his fast attacks and range, Vegita can be a menace to most melee characters. - If enemies get too close to you, they will always deal more damage to you than you can output. This puts you at risk, especially if you don't position yourself properly. - His ultimate isn't strong. It can be easily avoided and doesn't deal enough damage. |
![]() Itaduri |
+ Itaduri's attacks have an after-effect that can deal tons of damage to everyone hit by it. This can make him a threat to fight as a group. - Despite being a legendary character, his ultimate isn't too good. It requires you to hit the enemy to increase your damage, but this can be impossible against ranged units. - His normal damage isn't too high if the enemy doesn't get hit with the after-effect. |
Never Pick These (D Tier)
As the name suggests, you should try to avoid these characters. While you can try them out to see their abilities or if they're from your favorite anime, none of these characters offer anything useful to the team.
Character | Pros & Cons |
---|---|
![]() Tanjeuro |
- While his attack speed is fast, he doesn't deal enough damage to justify his upgrades or gear. - His ultimate isn't as strong as it should be. It looks flashy but doesn't do a good amount of damage. |
![]() Goko |
- Due to his melee attacks, you have to get up close and personal with the enemy. This can be quite difficult since Goko lacks good mobility skills to help his case. - Ultimate charges too slowly. Since you won't be able to hit ranged targets, your ultimate (kamehameha) won't charge quickly. |
![]() Naroto |
- His base damage is quite low compared to other characters like Vegita or Itaduri. This makes it almost impossible to finish off targets, especially with higher HP. - While his ability does a good amount of damage, it is easily telegraphed. Enemies will move out of the way immediately as soon as you charge. |
That's everything you need to know about the Jump Stars tier list. As you can see, the stronger units are usually those of higher rarities since their abilities and gear are more powerful. Which character is your favorite? We would love to hear your thoughts in the comments below!
