This story is about a zebra called Julius who gets kidnapped, along with Cornelius (a warthog) and has to fight in the Roman Colosseum with other animals. Julius thinks that he cannot survive in the days of teaching because his mentor is very strict. The mentor is called Septimus.
Julius wasn't friends with Cornelius because he was a brain-box. Cornelius always gives away too much information and talks too much. Along the way, Julius makes a couple of friends: Felix (a goat), Rufus (a giraffe) and Lucia (a crocodile). Also, there is a lion called Milus and he is very mean and angry all the time.
The pressure builds up as the team of six get closer and closer to the big fight… Finally, the Champion of the Champions fight arrives and five of the team players get knocked out by the huge, bulky Romans! One of the players survived- the person who survived was Julius! Julius beat the gladiators and he won the Champion of the Champions big fight! VICTORY FOR JULIUS!
Out of ten, I would say that this book would be rated 9/10.
