Julio Jones says he will train with Terrell Owens again this summer

Last summer, Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones spent some time working with one of the most productive offensive players of all time. Terrell Owens ranks third in NFL history in both career receiving yards and touchdown catches. Owens may not be the most popular player ever, but there is a lot he can teach Jones that others simply cannot.

For fans who think that’s a good idea, there’s good news. Jones says he will train with T.O. again this summer, per the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

“He’s been hitting me up. He hit me up on Sunday. He said let me know when you get back out here (California). I’ve got to get out there and we’ll do some stuff together, workout and things like that. He’s really good with those bends and then we’ll go to the track and do some stuff.”

Jones is currently negotiating a revised contract with the team that should make him the highest-paid wide receiver in the NFL.

Julio seems unconcerned by the talks, telling reporters yesterday that owner Arthur Blank’s word is gold. Blank has stated publicly that both Jones and star defensive tackle Grady Jarrett will be Falcons for life.
