Julio Jones says Falcons players bonded during trip to see ‘Joker’ movie

The Falcons are searching for answers after a 1-4 start that nobody saw coming. The team is in Arizona preparing for its Week 6 matchup with the Cardinals.

In an effort to block out the noise, wide receiver Julio Jones said the team went to the movies and saw “Joker,” according to The Athletic’s Jason Butt.

With the NFL world turning against them, the Falcons can probably relate to a film about the comic book world’s biggest anti-hero.

It’s highly improbable for Atlanta to make the playoffs in 2019, but having nothing to lose can sometimes be just what a struggling football team needs.
