Julio Jones needs 132 receiving yards to pass a major Calvin Johnson record

Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones took the mantle from Lions legend Calvin Johnson as the NFL’s most dominant receiver a few years ago when Johnson retired. On Sunday, Jones could pass Johnson as the fastest player ever to reach 11,000 receiving yards.

All he needs is 132 yards, something he’s done 25 times in a single game during his career (five times in 2018 alone).

Playing in his 114th career game on Sunday, Jones has 13 more games to break the record. Megatron took 127 games to reach the 11,000-yard milestone.

Jones, barring some sort of Andrew Luck surprise retirement or injury, should easily surpass Johnson as he has almost an entire season to get the 132 total yards needed to break the record.
